Grainmarket Alpacas is a delightful and vibrant herd of 27 alpacas residing in the breathtaking New Forest. Nestled amidst the lush greenery and picturesque landscapes, the charming blend of male and female members showcases various ages, from playful youngsters to wise elders. Each alpaca has its unique personality, contributing to the joyful atmosphere surrounding them. These enchanting creatures have a natural affinity for celebration, making them ideal wedding companions. Their gentle demeanour and friendly nature allow them to connect effortlessly with people of all ages, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone they encounter. Their soft, fluffy coats and endearing expressions make for fun photo opportunities too!

The sister company, Herd Alpaca Apparel, is a small brand with a simple idea: to create a collection of wearable, breathable, sustainable and traceable pieces, connecting the alpacas to the apparel. Designed and made in the UK, the collection includes cardigans, wraps, capes and accessories to keep and wear forever. The fleeces are not dyed, reducing environmental impact and ensuring the longevity of the colours. The team will never create more than 20 items of each design or recreate the exact same colourways year on year due to the increase of variety of animals to the herd. Every alpaca is known to Herd Alpaca Apparel, meaning the team knows the journey of each fleece from shearing and processing through design to manufacture.
