Andrew Smith Salons wins hairdressing award

Andrew Smith, Owner of Andrew Smith Salons in Gosport, has been announced as a winner in The Cut Hair Awards 2023. The event is organised by consumer hairdressing publication Hair Magazine and highlights the brightest stars of the hair world through different categories.

Andrew was thrilled to be announced as the winner of The Colour Expert category, which recognises hair colourist fanatics that love conjuring up beautiful hues to make their clients look and feel incredible. To enter the category, Andrew had to submit a written entry detailing five reasons why he’s genuinely a brilliant colourist, alongside photographic examples of his work and client testimonials. 

Andrew was then announced as a finalist alongside a large list of established industry professionals before being announced as the category winner. He comments, “I’m ecstatic as I’m so passionate about my work and always strive to create the best colour for my clients. The award means a great deal to me and will help elevate my colour career further and show off my hair colour skills.”
