My number one tip from the get-go is to work as a team, as the big day should reflect your love story and personalities. Don’t get too caught up trying to please everyone else; it’s your day after all. Highlight all the most essential aspects of the wedding and make these a priority throughout the process. Set a clear budget for each element on a spreadsheet with how much you’re comfortable spending, the deadline for payments and how much balance is left to pay to keep on track.

Forest Park Hotel
Forest Park Hotel is part of the Coaching Inn Group of historic hotels, one of the brand’s finest Signature settings. It’s located in the New Forest National Park at the southern centre of England and hugs the Hampshire coastline with an abundance of wildlife.
Originally built in 1893 as a grand private house, in 1905 the premises were expanded and converted into a luxury hotel. The Forest Park Hotel is the perfect setting for country house experiences, where the team offers exclusive weddings with private use to ensure the best ambience and that couples have amazing lifetime memories. The Acorn Room restaurant guarantees an unforgettable experience for those who wish to be close to nature. It’s the main and biggest room that can be used for private celebrations. Here, the team can host up to 60 guests for ceremonies and 100 in the evenings. With panoramic views of the garden, couples can expect to be wowed by the true elegance that this room offers.
Situated in well-appointed private spaces, The Meerut room allows stunning natural light with views of the garden, hosting 10 to 20 guests for the vows. The use of the private terrace is included with the room hire. The Garden and Twisted Branch are perfect for al fresco celebrations with up to 60-day guests and 100 in the evening. The tranquil rose-lined garden located at the rear of the hotel is the ideal space to relax and enjoy wedding ceremonies.
The chef has also created a bespoke Classic Wedding Menu and Garden Table Midnight Delight Buffet for wedding breakfasts, or couples can upgrade to the Premium Menu & Midnight Delight Buffets and Platters.
At Forest Park Hotel, the team offers two types of weddings: Exclusive Hire or Intimate. If couples prefer cosy, intimate wedding celebrations, then let the professional team plan and execute this with their input. They can provide white table linen, the Forest Park copper cake stand, a knife, and expertise from the event coordinator.
The Exclusive Hire of Forest Park Hotel is from 11am to 11am the following day. The staff has carefully crafted inclusive wedding and event packages with quality and individuality in mind, offering bespoke options for food and beverages. The exclusive hire includes the use of 40 luxury rooms, all public areas and the beautiful garden. The package includes a wedding ceremony, top table flower arrangement from its local supplier Corbin’s of Brockenhurst and a three-course complimentary one night stay on the couple’s first wedding anniversary.
The package is based on up to 60 daytime guests and a total of 100 evening guests. If pairs would like a personal quote for different numbers or options, then the team are happy to provide this.
